Advice for Students Taking ECE233[edit | edit source]

Extra Time Accommodations[edit | edit source]

If you are eligible for an extra time accommodation, you may want to avoid taking the class with Dr. Shoushan. She is extremely concerned with exam security, and tries to make all students with extended time start the test at the same time in the testing center. If you have a conflict with another class, this can prove problematic.

Labs[edit | edit source]

Read the lab instructions closely. It's easy to miss something and end up having to redo half the lab because of it.

Required Software[edit | edit source]

This class requires the use of Quartus and ModelSim. See Quartus and ModelSim for information on getting this software to run on Linux.
