Editing Meeting Minutes/01-23-2020

Due to a lot of things during week 6, not many people came. (Personally I had a lot of things to study for.)

The officers couldn't come due to transportation issues and having to study for a test.

The email notifications are more effective than Telegram notifications, from feedback given by other people. (A previous member read the email but not the Telegram.)


Some notes about meeting every 2 weeks:

- It is a disadvantage because we schedule a lot of ineffective meetings, which sometimes occur at the worst week. Maybe do once-in-a-while "events" as meetings instead, like server room tours?

- It is an advantage because people constantly ask "what do you do in LUG", and 2 weeks makes it seem like we're not just doing nothing/are an inactive club. We should probably keep the 2 weeks in that case.


This is the Secretary's (hopefully not) last meeting minutes. I like this position, and it has been great coming up with cool ideas for LUG meetings. Hopefully the drone project can get some ground after all the construction. I hope I do well in the elections 8th week or be able to contribute to LUG one way or another.
